I HATE Equifax and Experian

I do also hate Transunion, but they have been much easier to deal with.

Earlier this year, I placed a freeze on my credit because I have no interest in loans or credit cards, and paranoia made me think it’s probably wiser to prevent accounts from being opened in my name.

Well, unfortunately these worthless companies have a lot more power than they deserve. I mean, what right do they have to rule over our lives? So many things are connected to your credit; things I hadn’t even considered when I did this.

Well, my lease is up next month and I really want to move, because I don’t want to be caught in this area after the new Cowboy stadium opens–not that it hasn’t already been hell this last year dealing with this stupid, seemingly never ending construction.

In addition to the traffic, they’re trying to go up on my rent, again, and I’d be better off somewhere else for the extra expense.

I’ve been searching for an apartment all month long, and I finally managed to find my dream apartment. It’s in a good location, with quick access to 3 major highways, but it would make for a slightly longer commute, but it’s the only apartment of dozens I’ve looked at that meets all of my requirements, as well as my budget. There is one other that I really, really like, which is really a townhome, but those are really just souped-up apartments, IMO. It isn’t in a prime area; though it’s a lot closer to my current job (though I’m looking for a new job), but the rent is right at the very top of my budget. It’s honestly too damn close, and I just don’t know how well I’d do, adjusting to the increase–I think it’d cut into/eliminate my 3D budget.

The major bonus for the townhome is the garage. I just really want one, mainly for my old car. I’ve neglected it these last years and I’d like to spoil it. :-) Both have nice interiors, with good hardware, paint, and appliance selections, and both include a washer and dryer. But I can’t do any f-ing thing because my credit remains locked/frozen.

Now, there is one complex that said they only check Transunion, but it understandably sounds suspicious, asking a company which credit company they’re going to use. So, I’m really hesitant to ask my 2 favorites which they use. But if I could get by just using Transunion that would be really, really great.

I just hate that I’m stressing over this. I just shouldn’t have all of this heartache and headache over my own info.

Both of these stupid, retarded, need-to-be-shutdown companies claim they sent me a PIN months ago. So now my life rests on some random fucking number they’ve assigned to me. Why the fuck is that okay? It is not okay!

You don’t need a PIN to get your credit report, yet I have to turn fucking cartwheels to get a freeze temporarily lifted? It’s just ridiculous, and I am just so unbelievably pissed off because it totally sucks feeling such a loss of control over your own life. And that’s what makes all of this wrong, and it’s what makes them EVIL. I’m on the verge of hating them, not that there’s anything I can do. Which of course only makes me angrier.

So, I’m submitting my request for new pins. Let’s just see how long it takes them.

I hate to think I might be forced to renew my lease just because these power hungry bitches won’t do what I ask them to do with my own shit. It’s my information! I should have EASY control. Why do we even have to deal with them???

Why can’t there be some government agency overseeing all of this? What right does some private company have to control American citizens? I mean, here I am having to send them all this private information that I have never sent to any damn body. It’s like, who the fuck are they to demand this? It is just wrong and I hope some shit changes, soon.

Anyways, be forewarned. If you request a freeze (which they charge us $10 to do…plus $10 more for each temporary lift–and that’s $10 per company so it’s really $30 every time you want them to do anything to your own info) make sure to hold on to the randomly assigned number they allegedly mail you because it is now more important than anything else in your life. You’ve essentially signed over your soul to the fucking devil, and he has 3 heads.

Transunion has the right idea, in general. If they all operated like them I wouldn’t be fussing at all, not even over the $10 charge, because I wouldn’t be jumping through hoops right now. I would be doing whatever I decided I wanted to do with my own life, which is exactly the way it should be.
